A Large-Scale Community Association is seeking to fill a Part-time Dispatcher role within the Department of Public Safety. This position would be responsible for rapid response of incoming and outgoing calls within the community and receive incoming telephone or alarm system calls regarding emergency and non-emergency police and fire service, and emergency ambulance service needs. This position would also answer routine inquiries and refer calls not requiring dispatches to appropriate departments. They would Provide emergency medical instructions to callers. Monitor alarm systems to detect emergencies such as fires and illegal entry into establishments. Wage commensurate with experience. A Pocono Country Place POA is seeking a professional, alert, and reliable Armed Security Patrol Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-visibility vehicle patrols, access control, and emergency response to ensure the safety of our residents, guests, staff and property.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Vehicle Patrols: Conduct regular, proactive, and random vehicle or foot patrols of the association grounds, and amenities.</li><li>Access Control: Monitor the entrance gates, verify resident/visitor identification, and manage guest entry in compliance with association policies.</li><li>Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, traffic violations, suspicious activity, and emergency situations (medical/fire).</li><li>Reporting: Document daily activities, maintenance issues, and incident reports accurately via digital reporting systems.</li><li>Rule Enforcement: Enforce association rules and regulations professionally and respectfully.</li><li>Collaboration: Coordinate with local law enforcement, EMTs, and Fire Departments when necessary.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Active Pennsylvania Act 235 Certification (Armed) is Required.</li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Minimum 1-2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.</li><li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.</li><li>Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, or drive a patrol vehicle for extended periods.</li></ul>Benefits &amp; Compensation<ul><li>Competitive pay.</li><li>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance.</li><li>401(k) Savings Plan with Company Match.</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay.</li><li>Paid Training.</li><li>Uniforms provided.</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Full-time/Part-time positions available.</li><li>Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.</li></ul>APCP is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug-Free Workplace.
