Armed Patrol Officer - Act 235 REQUIRED

A Pocono Country Place POA is seeking a professional, alert, and reliable Armed Security Patrol Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-visibility vehicle patrols, access control, and emergency response to ensure the safety of our residents, guests, staff and property.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Patrols: Conduct regular, proactive, and random vehicle or foot patrols of the association grounds, and amenities.
• Access Control: Monitor the entrance gates, verify resident/visitor identification, and manage guest entry in compliance with association policies.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, traffic violations, suspicious activity, and emergency situations (medical/fire).
• Reporting: Document daily activities, maintenance issues, and incident reports accurately via digital reporting systems.
• Rule Enforcement: Enforce association rules and regulations professionally and respectfully.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with local law enforcement, EMTs, and Fire Departments when necessary.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Act 235 Certification (Armed) is Required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
• Ability to stand, walk, or drive a patrol vehicle for extended periods.
