As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control as needed. You will greet and assist students, staff, and visitors with strong communication and customer service while reporting concerns clearly and promptly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Control access to assigned areas by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization when required, and assisting with visitor direction and information.
• Complete security-related reports and activity logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives, and help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and professional interaction.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
