We deliver value and technical depth through full in-house capabilities and a focus on precision, reliability, and high-volume manufacturing performance.Position SummaryThe Supply Chain Coordinator is a hands-on role responsible for purchasing materials, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining accurate inventory levels to support production schedules. This position works closely with operations, engineering, and finance to ensure timely material availability, cost control, and supply chain efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesPurchasing<ul><li>Source and purchase steel, components, tooling, and indirect materials required for production.</li><li>Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers to achieve best total cost and value.</li><li>Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantity, cost, and delivery dates.</li><li>Maintain supplier records, contracts, and pricing within the ERP system.</li><li>Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through supplier consolidation or process improvements.</li></ul>Inventory Management<ul><li>Maintain accurate records of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.</li><li>Conduct and reconcile cycle counts to ensure ERP (Global Shop) accuracy.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production to meet build schedules and customer requirements.</li><li>Track and report key metrics such as inventory turns, stock accuracy, and usage trends.</li><li>Proactively address material shortages, overages, and obsolescence.</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration &amp; Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Collaborate with production, engineering, and finance teams to align purchasing and inventory plans with business objectives.</li><li>Utilize ERP/MRP tools (Global Shop) to manage purchasing, material planning, and reporting.</li><li>Support new projects and engineering changes through timely material coordination.</li><li>Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce cost or waste.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (preferred) or equivalent relevant experience.</li><li>3&ndash;5+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment (metal fabrication experience preferred).</li><li>Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.</li><li>Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems; Global Shop experience a plus.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced setting.</li></ul>Success Metrics<ul><li>On-time availability of materials for production.</li><li>Cost savings through effective supplier negotiations and sourcing initiatives.</li><li>High inventory accuracy and optimized inventory turns.</li><li>Supplier reliability and quality performance.</li><li>Improved coordination between purchasing, production, and finance.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have prior experience in purchasing or supply chain coordination?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
