Job Description:Luxury residential interior design firm is seeking a Freelance Design Assistant to join our team. The design assistant will work with designer through all phases of projects from concept through installation, including budgeting, scheduling, planning, development, and documentation.Responsibilities:&middot; Routine tasks related to executing and managing design projects&middot; Assist designer with purchasing and tracking purchases; follow-up as needed&middot; Maintaining client budgets&middot; Order/Track samples&middot; Filling in where needed as business demands&middot; Assist in sourcing of furniture, fixtures, &amp; finishes&middot; Product research&middot; Provide support on interiors projects&middot; Assist in the development of project presentations&middot; Follow-up on ordersSkills and Requirements:&middot; Detail-oriented, self-motivated, adaptive, with the ability to multi-task&middot; Excellent organizational and time management skills&middot; Strong communication skills, both verbal and written&middot; Exhibit impeccable follow-up skills&middot; Working knowledge of techniques, products, and materials used in high-end residential environments&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited school of design&middot; Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp, Blender and AutoCAD is a MUST&middot; Strong drawing skills required with 3D modeling, renderings, and floor plansPlease send a cover letter, resume, and portfolio.
