Abbey Logistics &ndash; A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following;HGV 1 Tanker Driver Location: Great Heck Monday - Friday Tramping Liquid &amp; Powder tanker positions available <ul><li>Full time permanent</li><li>Monday - Friday Tramping</li><li>Based at our Great Heck depot</li><li>Liquid &amp; Powder Tanks</li><li>Start times 0500-0700 average</li><li>&pound;15.00ph Monday - Friday / &pound;15.75ph Saturday / &pound;17.85 Sunday</li><li>&pound;26.20 night out</li><li>Weekly pay</li><li>Microlise bonus - paid monthly</li><li>Two week structured training program</li></ul>The role of an Abbey Logistics Class1 Tanker Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using powder tankers throughout the UK and into Europe if required.Duties will include:<ul><li>Collection &amp; Delivery of product in tankers to and from customer locations</li><li>Keeping your vehicle in clean condition</li><li>Working at heights</li><li>Using your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveries</li><li>Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines</li><li>Involves connecting and disconnecting hoses for loading and unloading.</li><li>Requires climbing onto tanks to check hatches and seals.</li><li>Manual handling of equipment such as couplings, valves, and hoses.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (no more than 6 penalty points)</li><li>Tanker experience essential</li><li>Must hold a valid and up to date DCPC Card</li><li>Can safely operate within a fall arrest system of up to 140kgs</li></ul>Why Join Abbey Logistics?<ul><li>Uniform &amp; PPE Provided &ndash; Stay professional and protected on the job.</li><li>28 Days Paid Holiday (including bank holidays) + Holiday Service days for 3 ,6 and 9 year service.
