HGV 1 Liquid Tanks Tramping

Shift: Monday - Friday Tramping
Type of work: HGV 1 Tanker

The role of an Abbey Logistics HGV 1 Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using liquid tanks throughout the UK and into Europe if required.

Duties will include:

• Loading and unloading of Liquid Tanks
• Keeping your vehicle in clean condition
• Working at heights
• Using your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveries
• Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines
• Involves connecting and disconnecting hoses for loading and unloading.
• Requires climbing onto tanks to check hatches and seals.
• Manual handling of equipment such as couplings, valves, and hoses.

What We’re Looking For:

HGV 1 Licence for a minimum of 12 months – Max 6 penalty points
Valid DCPC Card
Tanker Experience Preferred but not Essential
Can safely operate within a fall arrest system of up to 140kgs
