We foster a workplace that is professional, supportive, and engaging&mdash;where individuals passionate about early childhood education can grow and succeed.Our Work Environment<ul><li>Dynamic Atmosphere: A supportive and engaging workplace that encourages collaboration and creativity.</li><li>Commitment to Safety: We uphold the highest safety standards to ensure the well-being of all children and staff.</li><li>Professional Growth: Opportunities for ongoing development and career advancement within the Academy.</li></ul>Position Summary The Early Childhood Educator plays a vital role in creating a positive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for all children.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Curriculum Support: Assist in implementing daily curriculum and lesson plans, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.</li><li>Child Supervision &amp; Care: Provide attentive supervision and support children&rsquo;s daily care routines, including feeding, diapering, and naptime.</li><li>Inclusion &amp; Behavior Management: Apply inclusive practices and positive behavior management strategies, including support for children with special needs such as autism.</li><li>Team Collaboration &amp; Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues to assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.</li></ul>Education &amp; Certification Requirements Kidz Academy is a high-quality NM Pre-K, FOCUS - 5-STAR center. Candidates must meet New Mexico state requirements based on their role.<ul><li>All employees must complete 30 hours of NMECE training within the first 90 days of employment.</li><li>Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience (not required for all roles).</li></ul>Qualifications for Lead Roles:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (BA) in Early Childhood Education (ECE), or active enrollment in a BA ECE program; OR</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in another field with at least 18 credit hours in ECE; OR</li><li>Completion of at least two ECE courses toward the NM CDC, a CDA credential, or an AA/BA in ECE (FOCUS 5-STAR requirement).</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience (required).</li></ul>Essential Skills &amp; Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to perform First Aid and CPR (training provided)</li><li>Strong awareness of child safety and ability to respond quickly to potential hazards.</li><li>Ability to lift to 40 pounds.</li><li>Ability to remain alert, attentive, and engaged throughout the workday.</li><li>Ability to make sound, timely decisions regarding child safety and well-being.</li><li>Ability to safely operate a vehicle, if required for the position.</li><li>Ability to create a physically, emotionally, and mentally safe environment for all children.</li></ul>Join Our Team Grow with Kidz Academy&mdash;where every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of childrenJob Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Childcare</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Daycare: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)</li><li>CPR Certification (Preferred)</li><li>First Aid Certification (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
