Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Millwright/Field Welder to join our Agriculture/Industrial team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, performing precision mechanical repairs, installations, and welding tasks across various facilities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in industrial mechanics, welding, and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery and support field service operations. Your expertise will help ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and efficiency while providing exceptional customer service during field assignments.Responsibilities<ul><li>Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment within manufacturing facilities using precision measuring instruments and schematics.</li><li>Must be able to proficiently use different methods</li><li>Perform welding tasks, including &lt;LOCATION&gt; welding techniques, to repair or fabricate metal components according to technical specifications.</li><li>Conduct mechanical inspections utilizing tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices to diagnose issues with high voltage and low voltage systems.</li><li>Operate equipment such as scissor lifts and other industrial lifts safely during field service operations at various job sites.</li><li>Interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals for mechanical assemblies to execute repairs accurately.</li><li>Collaborate with team members and customers to provide technical support when necessary, ensuring clear communication of maintenance needs or system upgrades.</li><li>Adhere to safety protocols set forth by ABC York which meet or exceed OSHA standards.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or millwright within a manufacturing facility environment.</li><li>Demonstrated welding expertise with a focus on &lt;LOCATION&gt; welding techniques; certification preferred.</li><li>Strong electrical knowledge including experience working with high voltage and low voltage systems; familiarity with schematics is preferred.</li><li>Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters preferred.</li><li>Background in industrial maintenance or field service roles involving troubleshooting complex machinery using analysis skills.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to analyze technical issues quickly and efficiently in diverse environments.
