Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Millwright/Field Welder to join our Agriculture/Industrial team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, performing precision mechanical repairs, installations, and welding tasks across various facilities. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment within manufacturing facilities using precision measuring instruments and schematics.
- Must be able to proficiently use different methods
- Perform welding tasks, including <LOCATION> welding techniques, to repair or fabricate metal components according to technical specifications.
- Conduct mechanical inspections utilizing tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices to diagnose issues with high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Operate equipment such as scissor lifts and other industrial lifts safely during field service operations at various job sites.
- Interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals for mechanical assemblies to execute repairs accurately.
- Collaborate with team members and customers to provide technical support when necessary, ensuring clear communication of maintenance needs or system upgrades.
- Adhere to safety protocols set forth by ABC York which meet or exceed OSHA standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or millwright within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Demonstrated welding expertise with a focus on <LOCATION> welding techniques; certification preferred.
- Strong electrical knowledge including experience working with high voltage and low voltage systems; familiarity with schematics is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters preferred.
- Background in industrial maintenance or field service roles involving troubleshooting complex machinery using analysis skills.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
