Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reading Intervention Teacher to support students in grades 1 through 5 who need targeted literacy assistance. In this vital role, you will design and implement engaging, evidence-based reading programs that foster a love for literacy while addressing individual learning needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young learners&rsquo; lives while working within a dynamic educational environment committed to excellence and growth.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement customized reading intervention plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs. </li><li>Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress, document interventions, and communicate with colleagues and families. </li><li>Apply principles of literacy education, early childhood development, and childhood education to create effective lesson plans that promote reading fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary skills. </li><li>Incorporate learning technology tools and instructional design strategies to enhance engagement and learning outcomes. </li><li>Work closely with students with disabilities or special education needs, adapting instruction to support diverse learning styles. </li><li>Manage classroom environments efficiently through effective classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. </li><li>Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, parents, and administrators to support student success and provide ongoing academic advising.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Education, Literacy Education, Special Education, or a related field; Master&rsquo;s degree preferred. </li><li>Valid teaching certification or license for elementary or early childhood education. </li><li>Demonstrated experience in classroom teaching or tutoring students in grades 1&ndash;5, especially in literacy or reading intervention roles. </li><li>Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional strategies for early learners. </li><li>Familiarity with LMS platforms, learning technology tools, and data-driven instruction methods. </li><li>Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. </li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. </li><li>Ability to manage classroom behavior positively while fostering a supportive learning environment.
