Job Description: Structural Engineer (Design) - QatarPosition Title: Structural Engineer (Design) Location: Qatar Department: Engineering/DesignJob Overview:The Structural Engineer &ndash; Design will be responsible for performing structural analysis, preparing detailed designs, and developing engineering documentation for building and infrastructure projects. This role is purely design-focused within a consultancy environment, ensuring compliance with Qatar authorities and international design standards.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform structural analysis and detailed design of reinforced concrete and steel structures.</li><li>Prepare detailed design drawings, calculation sheets, technical specifications, and reports.</li><li>Use industry-standard software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, Robot, Revit Structure.</li><li>Coordinate with architects, civil, MEP, and geotechnical teams to ensure integrated design solutions.</li><li>Ensure all designs comply with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS), local authority requirements (e.g., Ashghal, MMUP), and international codes (ACI, BS, Eurocodes).</li><li>Review and verify shop drawings and material submittals when required.</li><li>Support in preparing tender documents, design basis reports, and technical presentations.</li><li>Conduct design checks, QA/QC reviews, and ensure accuracy of drawings prepared by CAD/BIM teams.</li><li>Respond to technical queries from internal teams, clients, and authorities.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master&rsquo;s preferred).</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;10 years of experience in structural design within a consultancy/design firm.</li><li>Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, Revit Structure).</li><li>Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design principles.</li><li>Familiarity with local authority requirements and international design codes.</li><li>Good coordination and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Must be available to join immediately.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person

Structural Engineer (Design) - Consultant Company Qatar - Join Immediately

Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our consultant supervision team for ongoing roads and infrastructure projects in Qatar. The QS will be responsible for monitoring contractor payments, verifying quantities on-site, evaluating variations and claims, and supporting commercial aspects of the project in line with QCS 2014, Ashghal standards, and the consultancy&rsquo;s internal procedures.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare, review, and validate BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents in line with project specifications.</li><li>Evaluate contractor claims, variations, and payment applications and prepare recommendations.</li><li>Provide cost control and financial management throughout project lifecycle.</li><li>Assist in contract administration, including claims management, risk assessment, and dispute resolution.</li><li>Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements.</li><li>Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and feasibility studies for design stages.</li><li>Review tender submissions and prepare evaluation reports.</li><li>Prepare and maintain accurate project cost reports, forecasts, and cash flows.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, and site teams to ensure cost efficiency.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Ashghal, PWA, and other authority standards for infrastructure and road projects.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering (Master&rsquo;s preferred).</li><li>Minimum 10 years&rsquo; QS experience, including at least 5 years with a consultant company in Qatar.</li><li>Strong background in infrastructure, roads, utilities, and buildings projects.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of FIDIC contracts, QCS, and local authority regulations.</li><li>Proficient in MS Excel, cost management software, and AutoCAD.</li><li>Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.</li><li>Strong command of written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person

QS Engineer (Consultant – Infrastructure & Roads) - Join Immediately

We are seeking an experienced Design Civil Engineer (Wet Utilities) to support the design and development of surface water, stormwater drainage, sewerage, and potable water networks in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in infrastructure design and experience working on large-scale projects in compliance with local authority standards.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and develop wet utility systems, including:</li><li>Stormwater drainage networks</li><li>Surface water systems</li><li>Foul sewer networks</li><li>Potable water distribution networks</li><li>Prepare and review design drawings, layouts, profiles, hydraulic calculations, and technical reports.</li><li>Develop utility layouts, longitudinal sections, and cross sections.</li><li>Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis for drainage and water networks.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), Ashghal standards, and international codes.</li><li>Coordinate with roads, structures, traffic, and other disciplines.</li><li>Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and design reports.</li><li>Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and authority approvals.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering.</li><li>7&ndash;15 years of experience in wet utilities/infrastructure design.</li><li>Strong experience in stormwater, sewer, and water network design.</li><li>Familiarity with Ashghal guidelines, QCS, and Qatar authority requirements.</li><li>Proficiency in:</li><li>Civil 3D</li><li>AutoCAD</li><li>MicroDrainage / InfoWorks / SewerGEMS / WaterGEMS (or similar)</li><li>Strong understanding of hydraulic design principles.</li><li>UPDA/MMUP certification is an advantage.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
