We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer to represent the Consultant in supervising major building and infrastructure projects in Qatar. The role involves full contract administration, construction supervision, quality control, and coordination with the Client, Contractors, and relevant Authorities to ensure successful project delivery in accordance with contract requirements.Candidates must be currently available in Qatar and able to join immediately or within a short notice period.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead the supervision team.</li><li>Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, work programs, and technical submissions.</li><li>Administer the Contract in accordance with conditions of contract (FIDIC or equivalent).</li><li>Review and certify interim payment applications.</li><li>Evaluate and assess Variation Orders (Cost &amp; Time), Site Instructions, EOT claims, and Contractor Claims.</li><li>Ensure construction works comply with Contract specifications, approved drawings, QCS, and local authority regulations.</li><li>Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project schedule and milestones.</li><li>Prepare and submit monthly progress reports to the Client.</li><li>Maintain the Resident Engineer&rsquo;s daily diary and oversee daily reporting by supervision staff.</li><li>Resolve technical and contractual issues in coordination with Client and Project Management.</li><li>Provide leadership, direction, and performance oversight of supervision staff.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.</li><li>Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status preferred.</li><li>UPDA/MMUP certification (Qatar) preferred.</li></ul>Experience Requirements<ul><li>Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including:</li><li>At least 10 years in a managerial or lead supervision role within a consultancy environment.</li><li>Extensive experience in large-scale building and infrastructure projects.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Planning Engineer to join our team immediately in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on major infrastructure and building construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong project controls expertise and a proven track record in delivering complex projects within approved timelines and budgets.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, baseline programs, and progress monitoring systems using Primavera P6.</li><li>Monitor project performance against approved schedules and identify delays, risks, and corrective actions.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of project timelines and deliverables.</li><li>Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, executive dashboards, KPI reports, and forecast updates.</li><li>Conduct delay analysis, Extension of Time (EOT) assessments, and prepare recovery schedules as required.</li><li>Review contractor schedules, monitor progress, and assess compliance with project milestones.</li><li>Support tendering activities through preparation of project schedules, resource histograms, manpower plans, and cash flow forecasts.</li><li>Ensure planning and scheduling deliverables comply with client requirements, contractual obligations, Ashghal standards, QCS, and international best practices.</li><li>Support management in project risk assessment, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.</li><li>Coordinate planning activities across multiple infrastructure and building projects.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum 10 years of planning and scheduling experience in construction projects.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of consultancy experience in Qatar.</li><li>Proven experience in both infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, and related works) and building construction projects (commercial, residential, mixed-use, institutional, or high-rise developments).</li><li>Strong experience in project controls, scheduling methodologies, progress measurement, and reporting.</li><li>Experience in delay analysis, EOT claims, recovery planning, and risk management.</li></ul>Technical Skills<ul><li>Expert proficiency in Primavera P6.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of Ashghal requirements, QCS, and international planning standards.</li></ul>Mandatory RequirementApplicants must be currently available in Qatar and able to join immediately.
