Overview We are seeking for immediate hire, a Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills. Will train the right person.Duties<ul><li>Safely operate and drive a 26 foot box truck with a liftgate, 16 foot box truck with a liftgate, or a Sprinter van.</li><li>Load and unload cargo as required while ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.</li><li>Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving record.</li><li>Maintain accurate logs of hours driven and cargo transported in compliance with regulatory requirements.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.</li><li>Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while managing routes efficiently.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficient in operating vehicle.</li><li>Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.</li><li>Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and compliance with safety regulations.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.</li><li>Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.</li><li>Must be able to obtain an STA upon completion of security training for TSA compliance.</li><li>Must be able to pass DOT drug test and obtain DOT medical card.</li></ul>You can do this position if you want to work.
