Truck Driver

Overview
We are seeking for immediate hire, a Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills. Will train the right person.

Duties

• Safely operate and drive a 26 foot box truck with a liftgate, 16 foot box truck with a liftgate, or a Sprinter van.
• Load and unload cargo as required while ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving record.
• Maintain accurate logs of hours driven and cargo transported in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while managing routes efficiently.

Skills

• Proficient in operating vehicle.
• Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and compliance with safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Must be able to obtain an STA upon completion of security training for TSA compliance.
• Must be able to pass DOT drug test and obtain DOT medical card.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
