Job Outline: The accountant will support management by maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ensuring the smooth execution of financial processes.Key Responsibilities:&middot; Analyze financial transactions with supporting documentation to ensure accuracy.&middot; Record accounting entries using the company&rsquo;s ERP software.&middot; Maintain company ledgers and document all daily financial transactions.&middot; Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing financial data.&middot; Assisting in the auditing process as and when required.&middot; Ensure financial security by implementing and adhering to internal controls.&middot; Verify and process payments by reviewing documentation and requesting disbursements.&middot; Address accounting procedure inquiries by researching and interpreting relevant policies and regulations.&middot; Provide general support for accounting and administrative functions.&middot; Ensure compliance with international and local financial regulations by staying informed on existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence, and advising management on necessary actions.&middot; Prepare special financial reports as needed by collecting, analyzing and summarizing financial information and trends.&middot; Maintain confidentiality of financial information to ensure customer trust and operational security.&middot; Continually address and improve internal control systems.Job Type: Full-timePay: E&pound;18,000.00 - E&pound;28,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>We shortlist only who can join immediately, can you join immediately? </li><li>Are you fluent in English? </li><li>The Work would be two days off per week, with Saturday and Sunday as onsite working days only</li></ul>Work Location: In person

Role PurposeThe role will act as the operational finance lead in Egypt, ensuring full ownership of local accounting operations, payroll, compliance, team management, and internal/external deliverables.This role enables the Head of Finance to step away from day-to-day Egypt operations, with only high-level approvals and strategic oversight remaining at HOF level.Core ResponsibilitiesA. Operational &amp; Accounting Oversight (Egypt Books)<ul><li>Full oversight of Egypt entity books of accounts</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate:</li><li>Weekly, mid-month &amp; month-end invoicing</li><li>Bank reconciliations</li><li>Vendor reconciliations</li><li>Payroll postings</li><li>Accruals &amp; provisions</li><li>Ensure all tasks required for month-end closure are completed by 2nd week of following month</li><li>Support Financial Controller readiness for management reporting</li><li>Maintain clean audit trail and documentation</li><li>Liaise with external auditor &amp; tax advisor (operational coordination)</li></ul>B. Payroll &amp; Compliance (Egypt)<ul><li>Full responsibility for Egypt payroll processing accuracy &amp; timeline</li><li>Ensure compliance with:</li><li>Egyptian labor law</li><li>Social insurance</li><li>Tax requirements</li><li>Coordinate payroll review and approvals</li><li>Manage employee additions, removals &amp; final settlements</li><li>Ensure payroll cost allocation accuracy</li></ul>C. People Management &amp; Resource Planning<ul><li>Direct people management of Egypt Accounts Team</li><li>Workforce planning with Team Lead &amp; HOF</li><li>Recruitment coordination with HR</li><li>KPI evaluation (monthly/quarterly)</li><li>Lead quarterly &amp; annual appraisals</li><li>Recommend annual increments (with HR &amp; HOF approval)</li></ul>D. Performance &amp; Capability Development<ul><li>Identify employee knowledge gaps</li><li>Arrange technical &amp; system training</li><li>Monitor improvement plans with Team Lead</li><li>Drive accountability culture</li></ul>E. Internal &amp; External Deliverables<ul><li>Accountable for:</li><li>Client deliverables</li><li>Audit schedules</li><li>Tax submissions support</li><li>System issue escalation</li><li>Highlight operational, resource, or system risks to HOF proactively</li><li>Ensure zero last-minute escalations</li></ul>F.
