1. Role ObjectiveTo teach Computer Science and Information Technology to middle and secondary classes, develop students&rsquo; computational thinking, and ensure they gain practical knowledge of digital tools, programming, and safe technology usage.2. Key Responsibilities A. Teaching &amp; Classroom Management<ul><li>Teach Computer Science/IT to Classes VI&ndash;X as per the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/State Board).</li><li>Deliver lessons in:</li><li>Basic computer operations</li><li>MS Office / Google Workspace</li><li>Internet &amp; digital literacy</li><li>Programming languages (Python, Scratch, HTML, etc.)</li><li>Computer hardware basics</li><li>Cyber safety &amp; responsible digital behavior</li><li>Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and digital content.</li><li>Maintain a disciplined, student-friendly learning environment.</li><li>Conduct class tests, assignments, practical exams, and maintain records.</li></ul>B. Practical Lab Management<ul><li>Ensure smooth functioning of the computer lab.</li><li>Maintain systems, report technical issues, and coordinate with IT support.</li><li>Ensure safe use of computers by all students.</li><li>Prepare and update lab manuals and practical files.</li><li>Manage inventory of equipment and software.</li></ul>C. Academic Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare question papers, worksheets, and evaluation rubrics.</li><li>Maintain student performance data and progress reports.</li><li>Provide remedial classes to help weak students.</li><li>Participate in curriculum planning, academic audits, and innovative teaching practices.</li><li>Ensure timely completion of syllabus.</li></ul>D. Student Engagement<ul><li>Guide students in computer-based projects, coding competitions, exhibitions, and ICT activities.</li><li>Encourage students to use technology for learning and creativity.</li><li>Promote responsible internet usage and cyber hygiene.</li></ul>E. School &amp; Administrative Duties<ul><li>Perform invigilation, examination duty, and evaluation work.</li><li>Attend staff meetings, training programs, and workshops.</li><li>Act as Class Teacher when assigned.</li><li>Support school events, assemblies, and celebrations.</li><li>Maintain student safety and follow all school policies.</li></ul>3. Required Qualifications Educational Qualification<ul><li>B.Sc / BCA / B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science / IT, OR</li><li>Graduation in any discipline with PGDCA, and</li><li>B.Ed. with Computer Science as a teaching subject (preferred).</li></ul>4. Experience<ul><li>2&ndash;5 years of teaching experience at middle/secondary level preferred.</li><li>Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching ability may also be considered.</li></ul>5. Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong conceptual and practical knowledge of Computer Science.</li><li>Good command over programming languages (Python, HTML, Scratch, etc.).</li><li>Ability to integrate digital tools, smart boards, and educational software in teaching.</li><li>Excellent communication and classroom management skills.</li><li>Student‑centric, patient, and empathetic approach.</li><li>Strong planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li></ul>6. Additional Expectations<ul><li>Support digital initiatives of the school (ERP, smart classes, tech integration).</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of student and school data.</li><li>Promote ethical, safe, and responsible use of technology.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
