 Budgeting, Planning and supervising scheduled maintenance and dry docking of the vessels.
 
 
 Critical role in Emergency Response Organization responding to any vessel casualty to ensure preservation of life and to maximum extent vessel under crisis conditions
 
 
 Act as primary point of contact for Vessel, OEM, Shipyard, Port Agency, Commercial and Finance Team.
 
 
 Advising corrective action for non-conformities, accidents &amp; hazardous occurrences reported by the vessels under your charge and follow up on non-conformities, in consultation with Head of Section.
 
 
 To ensure time bound compliance of all Class and statutory requirements to prevention of Detention/Arrest of vessels.
 
 
 Manage and mentor junior staff and technical personnel.
 
 
 Timely planning and procurement of all services and spares (Critical or Consumables) considering lead time and budget.
 
 
 Planning vessels maintenance during planned maintenance stoppages.
 
 
 To process the vendor invoices in timely manner. Booking of spares consumption in SMMS / SAP.
 
 
 Monitoring fuel consumption on daily basis and analyzing corrective measure to mitigate any deviation.

 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

 MOT Class II / MOT Class I / ETO - electrical
 
 
 
 RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

 Consulting &amp; planning with site representative to optimise deployment and monitoring all day-to-day activities related to O&amp;M
 
 
 Should Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment related to above mentioned floating crafts
 
 
 Reviewing requisitions related to material &amp; service and co-ordinate with Commercial for timely supply
 
 
 Monitoring of % Adherence to Maintenance Schedule and consult with maintenance head for finalization as per docking plan &amp; Scope of Work (SoW) against each vessel
 
 
 Monitoring of stock, consumption pattern, aging etc. on regular interval for optimisation of spare inventory
 
 
 Maintaining technical drawings and specifications of parts and machinery
 
 
 To support all RCA and CAPA implementation &amp; develop and implement maintenance procedures
 
 
 To ensure to complete all the statutory compliances on time as per marine regulations
 
 
 Develop Second line with all required trainings, coaching and mentoring
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
 
 
 
 (degree, training, or certification required)
 
 
 Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical (Essential) or B Tech (Desirable)
 
 
 
 RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
 
 (no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required) 10-15 years experience in marine environment

Superintendent - CSD & ancillaries

 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Planning, monitoring and controlling - day to day dredging/operational activities of CSD Shanti Sagar 21.
 </li>
 <li>
 Consulting and planning with Project Managers and Dredger Operators to maximize daily productivity.
 </li>
 <li>
 Raising Indents / Requisitions for material requirement to reduce delays/breakdown.
 </li>
 <li>
 Accountability of materials, fuel and Lube oils in vessels. &amp; time to time booking in SAP.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify repair requirements of vessels and comply the work in co-ordination with Workshop team.
 </li>
 <li>
 To ensure consistent improvement in Safety standards in vessels &amp; Inspection/Certification of Lifting Gears/Towing Gears/Cranes/Chain blocks in site.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure dredgers statutory requirements to comply with statutory bodies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Planning and arrangements for all repair and maintenance in vessels and planning &amp; execution of Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure continuous improvement in operational/process standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify Operational/maintenance gaps in site and rectify the issue with consultation with Project Manager/Maintenance team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinating with stores for spares, consumables and other supplies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Control and managing of manpower of dredger efficiently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assign duties or assignments to manpower according to their skills and Work priority.
 </li>
 <li>
 Employee development- Initiate trainings to Engineers on SAP/Equipment up-keeping,
 </li>
 <li>
 Operators &amp; crews-Behavioral safety training and to Improve Hazard Identification by vessel crews.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 Diploma / B.Tech in related field with suitable work experience.
