 Job Purpose:
 
 Officer - Fire is responsible for responding to fire emergencies, ensuring fire safety preparedness, and overseeing the maintenance and functioning of fire services equipment. The role involves leading fire inspections, managing fire crew, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and conducting training to maintain a fire-safe environment at the port.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 Emergency Response Preparedeness:
 
 
 
 Attend all fire emergency calls and guide fire crew in standby duties, inspections, monitoring, and emergency calls.
 
 
 
 Fire Preparedness Inspections
 
 
 
 Conduct daily site rounds to inspect fire safety and emergency preparedness across all work locations.
 
 
 
 Work Permit Verification
 
 
 
 Verify work permits for fire safety compliance in operational areas.
 
 
 
 Documentation &amp; Reporting
 
 
 
 Prepare daily activity reports, first information reports (FIR) for fire incidents, and document findings and actions.
 
 
 
 SOP Compliance &amp; Audits
 
 
 
 Ensure implementation of fire services standard operating procedures (SOPs), and conduct regular audits and inspections of work areas and buildings.
 
 
 
 Training &amp; Safety Awareness
 
 
 
 Provide fire safety training to fire staff, contractors, and company employees.
 
 
 
 Equipment Testing &amp; Maintenance
 
 
 
 Conduct hydrotests and refill SCBA cylinders and fire extinguishers. Ensure the proper functioning of fire water pumps and perform weekly pump tests. Oversee the maintenance schedule for fire services equipment, including fire pumps and extinguishers.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 Educational Qualification:
 
 
 
 Graduation/Sub Fire Officer Course, Diploma in industrial Safety
 
 
 Sub Fire Officer Course
 
 
 (Grade I or AI Fire is preferable but not mandatory)
 
 
 
 Work Experience
 
 
 
 Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in Fire Service in Manufacturing industry / port industry.

 Job Purpose:
 
 Head - Stores - Large Site manages timely receipt of material/ packages, proper storage, accounting and timely issuance to relevant user departments as per requirements. Responsible for classification, storage and liquidation of waste and scrap as per defined guidelines.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Supervise the stores team to carry out regular reviews of stores and procures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Define SOPs and guidelines for store management, inventory control and scrap Management
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and update the coding and organization of the inventory.
 </li>
 <li>
 All spare parts are maintained by equipment and by location.
 </li>
 <li>
 Replaced spare parts of a threshold approved by management are properly kept in secure place and disposed in line with company policy and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review on a regular basis the inventory min-max levels and advise appropriate adjustment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the spares received with new equipment are promptly recorded in system
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all goods delivered in store by suppliers are promptly updated in stores system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide support during mid and year end stock taking exercise and ensure variances are resolved promptly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Carry out analysis of stores&rsquo; consumption, establish trends and advise unusual variations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate to the user department on a weekly basis stock ite which are below re-order level for initiation of requisition or comments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise appraise training and development program required for the stores team to cope with various changes in the field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stores&rsquo; documents are properly kept for future reference and audits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and submit desired MIS to Site TC Head /BU TC Head.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identification and execution of corrective actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor &amp; resolve any discrepancies between electronic records that represent the inventory and the physical state of the inventory.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead the process of identification and liquidation of non-moving inventory (NMI).
 </li>
 <li>
 Carry out liquidation of assets (identified by concerned user) and other material including NMIs to be scrapped and ensure optimal price through Scrap management committee discussions
 </li>
 <li>
 Any other duties / work that may be assigned by the management from time to time .

 Educational Qualification

 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree, supply chain management, business administration or related area.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 More than 5 years of experience in managing stores, inventory management and scrap m anagement
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience of working with SAP - Material Management Module/ SAP Material Master, SD module for waste and scrap management
 </li>
