Job Title: WooCommerce &amp; Plugin DeveloperJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled WooCommerce &amp; Plugin Developer to manage, customize, and enhance our eCommerce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and plugin customization/editing. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver optimized solutions for a seamless online shopping experience.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop, customize, and maintain WooCommerce websites.</li><li>Install, configure, and troubleshoot WooCommerce plugins.</li><li>Edit and extend plugin functionality to meet business requirements.</li><li>Optimize website speed, performance, and security.</li><li>Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways into WooCommerce.</li><li>Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.</li><li>Collaborate with the design and content team to enhance the user experience.</li><li>Maintain version control (Git) and follow best coding practices.</li><li>Provide ongoing support and resolve technical issues promptly.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience with WordPress and WooCommerce development.</li><li>Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.</li><li>Experience in plugin customization and development.</li><li>Understanding of REST APIs and WooCommerce hooks/filters.</li><li>Familiarity with website performance optimization.</li><li>Knowledge of security best practices in WordPress/WooCommerce.</li><li>Ability to debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills.</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience with custom theme development.</li><li>Knowledge of Elementor, WPBakery, or other builders.</li><li>Familiarity with Linux-based hosting environments.</li><li>Experience with SEO optimization for eCommerce sites.</li><li>Exposure to GitHub/Bitbucket workflows.</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).</li><li>2&ndash;4 years of experience in WooCommerce/WordPress development</li></ul>Job Types: Part-time, ContractWork Location: Remote
