We are seeking a skilled WooCommerce & Plugin Developer to manage, customize, and enhance our eCommerce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and plugin customization/editing. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver optimized solutions for a seamless online shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WooCommerce websites.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot WooCommerce plugins.
• Edit and extend plugin functionality to meet business requirements.
• Optimize website speed, performance, and security.
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways into WooCommerce.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with the design and content team to enhance the user experience.
• Maintain version control (Git) and follow best coding practices.
• Provide ongoing support and resolve technical issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with WordPress and WooCommerce development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience in plugin customization and development.
• Understanding of REST APIs and WooCommerce hooks/filters.
• Familiarity with website performance optimization.
• Knowledge of security best practices in WordPress/WooCommerce.
• Ability to debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with custom theme development.
• Knowledge of Elementor, WPBakery, or other builders.
• Familiarity with Linux-based hosting environments.
• Experience with SEO optimization for eCommerce sites.
• Exposure to GitHub/Bitbucket workflows.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in WooCommerce/WordPress development
