Barista Job DescriptionA Barista prepares and serves coffee, tea, and other beverages while providing excellent customer service in a caf&eacute;, coffee shop, or restaurant setting.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages.</li><li>Take customer orders and process payments accurately.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas.</li><li>Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other caf&eacute; equipment.</li><li>Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, cups, and syrups.</li><li>Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.</li><li>Answer customer questions and make product recommendations.</li><li>Handle customer concerns professionally and courteously.</li><li>Assist with opening and closing duties.</li></ul>Required Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>Strong customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Basic math and cash-handling skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes.</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights.</li><li>Teamwork and reliability.</li><li>Previous caf&eacute; or food service experience is preferred but often not required.</li></ul>Typical Working Conditions:<ul><li>Flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interaction.</li><li>Standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.</li></ul>Work Location: In person
