Early Hours Receptionist &ndash; Ambulatory Surgery Center (Full-Time)Location: Leesburg &amp; Lady Lake, FL Pay: $16.00&ndash;$18.00 per hour (based on experience)Job SummaryWe are seeking a dependable, organized, and patient-focused Early Hours Receptionist to join our busy Ambulatory Surgery Center serving a gastroenterology practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service.The schedule will include early morning start times (as early as 5:30 AM) to prepare for the day's surgical cases. Hours may vary based on the surgery schedule, with the center operating until approximately 2:00 PM. Candidates should have flexibility with scheduling.Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is required.Responsibilities<ul><li>Welcome and check in patients for scheduled procedures</li><li>Verify patient demographics, insurance, and required documentation</li><li>Register patients accurately using eClinicalWorks (eCW)</li><li>Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally</li><li>Coordinate with nurses, physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff regarding patient arrivals</li><li>Collect co-pays and process patient paperwork</li><li>Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance</li><li>Ensure the reception area remains organized and professional</li><li>Assist with scanning, filing, faxing, and other administrative duties</li><li>Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day</li><li>Provide outstanding customer service to patients and their families</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 1 year of medical receptionist experience required</li><li>Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred</li><li>Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center, endoscopy center, hospital, or specialty medical practice is preferred</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and dependable</li><li>Comfortable with early morning shifts</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Job TypeFull-timeSchedule<ul><li>Monday&ndash;Friday</li><li>Early morning start time (5:30 AM)</li><li>Hours vary based on the surgery schedule</li></ul>If you are a compassionate, dependable professional who enjoys helping patients and thrives in a team-oriented healthcare environment, we would love to hear from you.Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
