Advanced Orthopedics &amp; Sports Medicine of SWFL is currently seeking an experienced medical receptionist/multi phone operator to join our team. The right candidate will understand the value of compassionate and professional service. In this role, you would be responsible for serving as a medical receptionist.DETAILED MEDICAL RECEPTION RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Welcomes and greets patients and visitors in a manner that is helpful and friendly.</li><li>Check in and Check out</li><li>Answers multiple phone lines courteously and efficiently.</li><li>Performs day-to-day office duties, including but not limited to data entry, copying, and filing, appointment scheduling and medical-record management.</li><li>Obtains verification and authorizations for patient&rsquo;s insurance.</li><li>Collects and posts patient payments.</li><li>Maintains the patient waiting areas, office files, and front-desk areas in a manner that is organized and neat.</li><li>Schedule phone conferences for physicians</li></ul>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Excellent customer-service skills</li><li>Interpersonal skills</li><li>Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills</li><li>Flexibility and team-work</li><li>Ability to multi-task</li><li>Organizational skills</li><li>Computer literacy; 35 WPM</li></ul>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>HS Diploma or equivalent</li></ul>Work Location: Multiple locationsJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Fort Myers, FL 33919 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Fort Myers, FL 33919: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
