Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surgical nursing and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile.</li><li>Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.</li><li>Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes during surgery.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure a sterile environment.</li><li>Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-operative care planning.</li><li>Educate patients and their families about post-operative care instructions.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.</li><li>Previous experience in an Operating Room setting is highly preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient assessment and education.</li><li>Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
