Operating Room Registered Nurse

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surgical nursing and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes during surgery.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure a sterile environment.
• Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-operative care planning.
• Educate patients and their families about post-operative care instructions.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in an Operating Room setting is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient assessment and education.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
