Advatech Pacific is an established Aerospace &amp; Defense Engineering firm supporting our customers with engineering, modeling, research and development, design and analysis services. Currently we have a Manufacturing Engineer position open in Irvine, CA.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Primary Qualifications include:
<ul>
<li>A background in complex machining, particularly for gears.</li>
<li>A minimum of 8 years manufacturing experience.</li>
<li>Must be able to read 2D drawings and create marking fixture drawings.</li>
<li>A good working knowledge of lean manufacturing, product planning and routing.</li>
<li>Must have attention to detail and understand the need for accuracy, timeliness and quality in assigned work tasks.</li>
<li>Other desired skills are knowledge of Catia and CAD Software, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies.</li>
<li>Knowledge of various Manufacturing Software and Tracking.</li>
<li>Must have excellent report writing and problem solving skills.</li>
<li>Extensive use of MS Office tools and strong written skills a must.</li>
</ul>
Education

Requires a B.S. in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
