Quantity Surveyor cum Interior Designer -&ndash; Furniture ManufacturingJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor cum Interior Designer with expertise in furniture manufacturing and interior fit-out, who can also take on the role of Supervisor Carpenter. This unique role requires managing design, estimation, and project costing while also leading a carpentry team to ensure high-quality furniture production, timely delivery, and compliance with safety standards.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs for interior and furniture projects.</li><li>Read, interpret, and develop technical drawings, layouts, and design specifications.</li><li>Supervise carpenters in furniture construction, joinery, and assembly.</li><li>Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure projects are completed on time.</li><li>Implement strict quality control measures for design and production.</li><li>Train, guide, and motivate team members to achieve project goals.</li><li>Maintain safety standards, proper equipment use, and workshop organization.</li><li>Coordinate procurement, materials, and inventory management.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying / Interior Design (preferred).</li><li>Minimum 4-5 years of carpentry/furniture experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of woodworking, joinery, and interior fit-out processes.</li><li>Proven experience in estimation, costing, and project coordination.</li><li>Ability to read and prepare technical drawings and design documentation.</li><li>Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Basic computer literacy (MS Office, AutoCAD or similar).</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
