<div>Position Summary
The Tear-down Technician is responsible for testing, grading, and tearing down Chromebooks into individual components.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities<ul><li>
Troubleshoot technical issues and log malfunctioning components</li><li>
Complete data entry of logs, paperwork and forms</li><li>
Interpret written instructions and follow detailed verbal instructions</li><li>
Utilize testing machines and a variety of hand tools with a high level of finger dexterity</li><li>
Work effectively using low-power magnification to see details in close range</li><li>
Meet production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards</li><li>
Perform basic mathematical calculations</li><li>
Multi-task and work in a flexible, changing environment with multiple competing deadlines</li><li>
Effectively communicate (verbal and written) and maintain good relationship with co-workers</li><li>
Accurately perform job duties with minimal supervision</li><li>
Learn multiple tasks, cross train, and perform job functions in other departments as needed</li><li>
Perform warehouse duties when necessary including: moving boxes up to 70 lbs., using a pallet jack, trash duties, cardboard compactor, recycling scrap parts, cycle counting inventory</li></ul>
Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>
Good knowledge of basic math</li><li>
Near vision&mdash;the ability to see details at close range</li><li>
Finger dexterity&mdash;the ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects</li><li>
Documentation/Recording&mdash;the ability to record and maintain relevant information</li><li>
Technical aptitude</li><li>
Applied Learning&mdash;the ability to apply knowledge, understanding or skill to practical use on the job</li><li>
Interpersonal&mdash;the ability to develop and maintain relationships with coworkers</li></ul>
