 The Role
 
 
 
 As part of our continued growth with existing customers, we&rsquo;re looking for an experienced and business-minded Account Manager to join our New York team.
 
 
 This is not a hunting role;&nbsp;instead, you&rsquo;ll own relationships with key existing customers, building long-term partnerships, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring continued satisfaction and engagement. You&rsquo;ll have a mix of sales and relationship responsibilities and will play a key role in driving year-over-year Book of Business growth.
 
 
 We&rsquo;re looking for someone who is proactive, curious, and genuinely passionate about helping customers succeed. If you&rsquo;re a strong communicator who enjoys understanding your clients&rsquo; business challenges and uncovering opportunities before they even ask, this is the role for you.
 
 
 
 What You&rsquo;ll Do
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Own and manage relationships with 50&ndash;100 existing customers, maintaining consistent engagement and trust
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Agora&rsquo;s suite of solutions
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop a deep understanding of each customer&rsquo;s business, goals, and financial drivers to proactively recommend solutions
 </li>
 <li>
 Leverage your financial acumen,&nbsp;ideally grounded in CPA training or experience, to speak credibly with CFOs, Controllers, and other senior finance leaders
 </li>
 <li>
 Navigate complex financial conversations with maturity and professionalism, ensuring you balance partnership with commercial outcomes
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as a trusted advisor by combining a consultative approach with a strong understanding of financial services and the broader customer landscape
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate closely with internal teams (Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Leadership) to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new opportunities
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular check-ins, both virtually and in person, maintaining a consistent cadence of communication
 </li>
 <li>
 Track, forecast, and report on pipeline and performance metrics
 </li>
 <li>
 Represent Agora with professionalism and empathy at events, conferences, and customer meetings
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Requirements:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 A background in accounting or finance (CPA credentials or experience working in a CPA capacity is a strong plus, especially if paired with a transition into sales, client advisory, or revenue-generating roles)
 </li>
 <li>
 5&ndash;7 years of experience in Account Management, ideally in SaaS or tech-enabled services with experience selling financial or professional services
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven success in driving revenue through upselling and cross-selling
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to hold tough, high-stakes conversations with C-level finance executives while maintaining trust and partnership
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong relationship management, negotiation, and closing skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Detail-oriented with strong commercial instincts; able to contextualize data, financial statements, and ROI discussions in customer conversations
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented. Thrives in ownership and autonomy
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; able to connect with C-level executives and decision-makers
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
 </li>
 <li>
 Background or experience with Real Estate Investment, FinTech, or PropTech industries a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Based in New York with the ability to travel to our Chelsea office 3&ndash;4 times a week
 </li>

 Compensation:
 
 
 
 90,000 - 110,000 base (up to 220k OTE)
