Purchase Engineer Responsibilities:&middot; Conducting product research and sourcing new or alternate suppliers and vendors.&middot; Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost- effective contracts and deals.&middot; Performing inventory inspections in line with stores, reordering supplies and stock as necessary and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately&middot; Conducting market research to keep abreast of the updated technology &amp; map requirements in the plant&middot; Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, received stock and returns to suppliers with compliance.&middot; Critical spares to be maintained as per their avg. lead time &amp; align with the stores.&middot; Regular training to be received &amp; to be given in respect of purchase.&middot; Designing of the process wherever necessary in case there are gaps in the same.&middot; Processing the indent within the informed TAT to avoid any delays in the production.&middot; Reduction in purchase cost through substitute products, alternate suppliers, negotiation.&middot; Purchase to be done within the prescribed budget as allocated to the department.&middot; Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.&middot; Establishing professional relationships with vendors and suppliers.&middot; Ensuring all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.Purchasing Officer Requirements:&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engg. Key responsibilities for welder<ul><li>Reading and interpreting blueprints: Study technical drawings and specifications to understand the project requirements and plan the work accordingly.</li><li>Fitting and assembly: Lay out, position, align, and secure metal parts together for welding using various tools, clamps, and tack-welds.</li><li>Welding and cutting: Use different welding techniques (like arc, gas, or TIG) and equipment, such as torches, and powered saws, to cut and fuse metal components.</li><li>Quality control: Inspect and measure welded surfaces and assembled parts to ensure accuracy, proper fit, and conformance to specifications, sometimes using precision measuring instruments.</li><li>Safety and maintenance: Adhere to all safety protocols, maintain equipment, and keep the work area clean.</li><li>Material preparation: Prepare metal surfaces and materials for the welding process.</li><li>Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults with equipment and perform routine maintenance on machinery.</li></ul>Key responsibilities for Fitter<ul><li>Assembly and installation: Putting together and installing machinery, mechanical systems, and structural components using precision tools.</li><li>Reading and interpreting plans: Reviewing blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.</li><li>Fabrication and repair: Cutting, shaping, drilling, and grinding metal parts to fabricate or repair components.
