Role DescriptionWe are hiring a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and regional platforms for AhyaOS and Tawazun, our climate reporting and carbon marketplace products.This is a hands-on engineering role focused on automation, reliability, and scalable system design. You will own infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows, including supporting ML-based systems in production.This role is suited for engineers who build systems from the ground up and take responsibility for their performance in production.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and manage scalable, resilient infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and regional cloud providers</li><li>Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform</li><li>Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitOps practices (ArgoCD)</li><li>Deploy and operate containerized applications using ECS or Kubernetes</li><li>Implement GitOps workflows for consistent and auditable deployments</li><li>Support deployment and scaling of backend services and ML workloads</li><li>Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and handle production incidents</li><li>Optimize infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost efficiency</li><li>Implement security best practices and support vulnerability management</li></ul>Tech Stack<ul><li>Cloud: AWS, GCP, regional cloud providers</li><li>Infrastructure: Terraform, Docker</li><li>Orchestration: ECS, Kubernetes</li><li>CI/CD: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD</li><li>Monitoring: CloudWatch, Sentry, or equivalents</li><li>Backend Exposure: Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Celery</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering</li><li>Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS or GCP)</li><li>Proven experience with infrastructure as code, Terraform preferred</li><li>Experience with containerized deployments using ECS or Kubernetes</li><li>Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions preferred</li><li>Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot production systems and handle incidents independently</li><li>Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid environments is an advantage</li><li>Exposure to ML deployment workflows is a plus</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>DevOps: 4 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
