Associate / Senior Associate, QA/QC Engineer

Role Description

We are hiring a QA Engineer to own product quality across our climate-focused SaaS platforms. This role sits at the core of product delivery, ensuring that every release meets a high standard of reliability, usability, and correctness.

You will lead manual QA efforts end-to-end, from test planning to release sign-off, while working closely with product, engineering, and design. As the platform scales, you will also be expected to improve QA processes, coverage, and overall quality discipline.

You are responsible for the quality of what goes live.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end QA cycles: test planning, execution, defect tracking, and release sign-off
• Write and maintain clear, structured test cases based on product requirements and UI designs
• Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across releases
• Validate complete user workflows, not just isolated features
• Test web applications across browsers and responsive device scenarios
• Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools to validate backend behavior
• Identify edge cases, data inconsistencies, and failure scenarios early
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects efficiently
• Ensure release readiness and perform post-deployment validation in production
• Contribute to improving QA processes, coverage, and documentation as the system evolves

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in QA for web-based SaaS products
• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing and structured test case design
• Solid understanding of web application workflows and client-server architecture
• Experience with API testing (Postman or similar)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments
• Ability to read and validate product requirements and Figma designs with precision
• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication
• Ability to think in edge cases, not just happy paths

Tools & Skills

• Jira or similar issue tracking tools
• Test management tools (Zephyr, TestRail, or similar)
• Postman for API validation
• Browser DevTools for debugging
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
