Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated HVAC Helper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC field while working alongside skilled technicians. A strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this position.Duties<ul><li>Assist HVAC technicians with the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems.</li><li>Support maintenance tasks by performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.</li><li>Help troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems using schematics and diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.</li><li>Participate in the repair of mechanical components and appliances related to HVAC systems.</li><li>Aid in plumbing tasks as needed during installations or repairs.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.</li><li>Follow safety protocols while working on-site to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.</li></ul>Experience Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of HVAC principles and practices. Preferred skills include:<ul><li>Experience in construction or field service roles related to HVAC/R systems.</li><li>Familiarity with HVAC design concepts and schematics.</li><li>Basic knowledge of refrigeration principles, air conditioning systems, and boiler operations.</li><li>Mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair, welding, or appliance repair is advantageous.</li><li>Previous property maintenance experience is a plus, particularly involving HVAC or plumbing work.
