HVAC Helper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated HVAC Helper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Duties

• Assist HVAC technicians with the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
• Support maintenance tasks by performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Help troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems using schematics and diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
• Participate in the repair of mechanical components and appliances related to HVAC systems.
• Aid in plumbing tasks as needed during installations or repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
• Follow safety protocols while working on-site to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.

Experience
Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of HVAC principles and practices. Preferred skills include:

• Experience in construction or field service roles related to HVAC/R systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC design concepts and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration principles, air conditioning systems, and boiler operations.
• Mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair, welding, or appliance repair is advantageous.
