Our portfolio includes single-family homes (25%), small multifamily properties (25%), and mid-sized apartment communities (50%). We pride ourselves on open communication, teamwork, and our shared mission&mdash;to become the best property management company in Sioux Falls.Our leadership is hands-on and involved&mdash;it&rsquo;s not uncommon to see our owners helping with an emergency maintenance request, handle a weekend showing, or jump in wherever needed to support the team.As our Leasing Agent, you&rsquo;ll work directly with our Founder and Managing Partner, Gage Klein, to onboard the Average 2&ndash;3 new clients we add each week and help lease their vacant properties. You&rsquo;ll receive direct mentorship, guidance, and training to help you grow into leadership as our company continues to expand.This position has a clear advancement path: Leasing Agent &rarr; Senior Leasing Agent &rarr; Leasing Manager .Responsibilities<ul><li>Advertise available units on platforms such as Facebook, Zillow, Apartments.com, and others.</li><li>Respond promptly and professionally to tenant inquiries and showing requests.</li><li>Conduct property showings and guide applicants through the leasing process.</li><li>Process rental applications and coordinate with the property management team.</li><li>Assist in onboarding new client properties and preparing them for lease-up.</li><li>Maintain accurate leasing records and communicate effectively with the team.</li><li>Represent AJ Property Management professionally in all tenant and client interactions.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate, leasing, or a sales-related role required.</li><li>Outgoing, personable, and professional demeanor &mdash; you&rsquo;ll be a face of our team.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Comfortable using online listing platforms (Facebook Marketplace, Zillow, etc.).</li><li>Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.</li><li>Interest in real estate and long-term career growth within the industry.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>$20&ndash;$24 per hour, depending on experience.</li><li>Quarterly performance bonuses ranging from $500&ndash;$2,500 per quarter.</li><li>2 weeks of PTO per year.</li><li>All bank holidays paid.</li><li>Opportunities for growth into management roles.</li><li>Supportive, family-like team culture.</li><li>Direct mentorship from company leadership.</li><li>Hands-on experience in real estate and property management.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time Location: Sioux Falls, SDIf you&rsquo;re a motivated, people-oriented professional looking to grow your real estate career with a supportive and ambitious team, we&rsquo;d love to meet you.
