Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily clinical and administrative operations of a busy Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, exceptional patient experience, and strong team coordination across both clinical and clerical functions.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative &amp; Clerical Management<ul><li>Oversee front office operations including scheduling, patient registration, and check-in/check-out processes</li><li>Oversee insurance verification, pre-authorizations, billing, and collections</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations</li><li>Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and financial reporting</li><li>Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for patient concerns and escalations</li></ul>Clinical Operations Support<ul><li>Coordinate staff schedules and ensure proper coverage</li><li>Ensure operatories are fully equipped and compliant with safety standards</li><li>Work closely with the surgeon and clinical team to optimize patient flow</li><li>Oversee inventory management for clinical supplies and equipment</li><li>Support compliance with OSHA, infection control, and regulatory standards</li></ul>Team Leadership &amp; Development<ul><li>Recruit, train, and supervise administrative and clinical support staff</li><li>Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching</li><li>Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered work environment</li><li>Lead team meetings and communicate updates effectively</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 1&ndash;3 years of office management experience in a dental, oral surgery, or medical practice</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental/medical insurance, billing, and coding procedures a plus</li><li>Familiarity with oral surgery workflows and clinical terminology preferred</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills</li><li>Proficiency in practice management software and Microsoft Office</li><li>Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery practice management</li><li>Knowledge of sedation cases and surgical scheduling coordination</li><li>Strong financial management and reporting skills</li></ul>Expected hours: 30.0 &ndash; 40.0 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
