Sales Role &ndash; Textile Machinery Distribution (Independent IC)Location: Sharjah, UAE Department: Sales &amp; Business Development Reporting To: Head of SalesThis is a specialized sales role requiring deep knowledge of textile machinery and accessories within the UAE and regional markets. The incumbent will operate as an independent individual contributor, responsible for end-to-end business development&mdash;from lead generation and cold calling to technical discussions, deal closure, and after-sales coordination.The role is ideal for a self-driven sales expert who thrives in a niche B2B distribution environment, balancing technical know-how with commercial acumen.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Business Development &amp; Lead Generation</li><li>Identify and target potential textile manufacturers, traders, and distributors.</li><li>Execute cold calling, client visits, and networking in industry events/exhibitions.</li><li>Sales &amp; Negotiation</li><li>Conduct needs analysis with clients and propose suitable machinery/solutions.</li><li>Prepare and deliver technical/commercial proposals.</li><li>Negotiate terms and close deals independently.</li><li>Account Management</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure repeat business.</li><li>Provide post-sales support in coordination with technical/service teams.</li><li>Market Intelligence</li><li>Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and emerging textile technology.</li><li>Recommend product positioning strategies to management.</li><li>End-to-End Ownership</li><li>Independently handle sales pipeline from prospecting &rarr; closure.</li><li>Maintain accurate records in CRM/reporting tools.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ABM Code of Conduct and UAE trade regulations.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong understanding of textile machinery applications (sewing, embroidery, cutting, finishing, etc.)</li><li>Excellent B2B sales &amp; negotiation skills</li><li>Ability to independently manage sales cycle without support</li><li>Technical aptitude to discuss specifications with engineers/factory managers</li><li>Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills</li><li>Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Engineering, or Textile Technology (preferred)</li><li>5&ndash;7 years of proven experience in textile machinery sales/distribution in GCC or international markets</li><li>Existing client network in UAE textile/garment industry (advantageous)</li><li>Valid UAE driving license required</li></ul>KPIs / Performance Metrics<ul><li>Revenue target achievement (quarterly/annual)</li><li>Number of new client accounts opened</li><li>Pipeline coverage ratio (leads vs. closures)</li><li>Customer retention rate</li><li>Gross margin per deal</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From AED5,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>What is your salary expectations?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Sales : 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driving License (Required)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>75% (Required)</li></ul>
