Job Summary:A rental agent should be an enthusiastic, energetic and a self-driven individual with strong inter personal skills to handle administration and enquiries involved with renting vehicles to businesses and the public.Responsibilities:&middot; Greet all customers; accustom effective sales strategies to encourage customers to utilize service options.&middot; Deliver necessary rental information and disclose rates to the customers.&middot; Furnish all the terms and conditions of rental and obtain customer signatures.&middot; Complete, review and submit various reports to supervisor.&middot; Maintain and update rental agreement files; contract and notify customers of overdue rental vehicles and inquire as to the expected date of return; process rental extensions.&middot; Complete car exchange requests in computer system.&middot; Dealing with customer enquiries about the availability and cost of vehicles&middot; Taking bookings and explaining the terms of rental or leasing agreements&middot; Completing paperwork with the customer and taking payments&middot; Showing the customers their vehicle and pointing out any bumps, scrapes or special features&middot; Providing ongoing service and sales support, if you deal with regular business leasing accounts.&middot; Receive enquiries from the public either in person or by telephone, take bookings and inform customers of the rental rates charged&middot; Book customers by entering details such as the type of car, rental period and planned journey into a computer or onto the appropriate form&middot; Check customers' identification and authenticity of driver&rsquo;s license, draw up rental contracts and process payments using a computer system.&middot; Arrange for cars to be ready for customers at the rental office or delivered to their hotels or places of business&middot; Explain the controls of the rental cars to customers and provide them with directions and tourist information when necessary&middot; Check returned cars to log kilometers travelled and for any damage, enter details into a computer and present final accounts to customers&middot; Manage payment and return customers' prepayments through cash or credit card deposits.&middot; Note any car problems encountered by customers and follow up with appropriate action&middot; Process overdue vehicles and collect additional payment&middot; Arrange for cars to be cleaned and refueled, ready for the next customer&middot; Collate all transactions into a daily report and balance the cash&middot; Make the customers aware of the insurance policies and guidelines of the vehicles.&middot; Maintain and update rental agreement files.&middot; Update various requests/ changes in the system&middot; Collate all transactions into a report and reconcile with accounts department(DBR).&middot; Individually check all replacement vehicles for damages and violations&middot; During the vehicle leasing closure check for violations and damages.&middot; Always check if the vehicle is on a contract and the customer is returning prior to the contract date then he has to be charged for early termination.&middot; Check pending payment from accounts and get the amount written on the statement that they print. File it for your future safety.&middot; While opening a lease agreements collect the following from the customer:Qatar / international driving license (for international license verify with the PRO)Credit card copy&middot; For opening an individual rental agreement collect the necessary documents such as Qatar ID, Valid Credit card, and Driving License &ndash; Qatar/GCC/ Int D/L (check for country).Nationality preferred : PhilippinesJob Type: Full-timePay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR5,400.00 per monthWork Location: In person
