Job Summary Join our team! We are a growing distributing company delivering anywhere from local Anchorage shops, Valley drop offs, and airport drop offs to various places around Alaska. We are looking for a quick, energetic individual who can handle a physically active job. You&rsquo;ll be responsible for picking orders for customers, receiving and stocking freight, general warehouse maintenance to ensure shelves are stocked and area is well kept, and being a back up driver on our busy days to help ensure we can get our customers orders out on time. If you are a team player, looking for a fast-paced environment, enjoy driving and an ever changing work environment, then we would love to have you!Duties<ul><li>Picking and sorting orders for upcoming deliveries.</li><li>Load and unload shipments from vehicles by use of pallet jacks or fork lifts.</li><li>Stock shelves and freezers regularly</li><li>Cycle Counting regularly to ensure consistent, accurate inventory numbers.</li><li>Assist with loading delivery truck with orders.</li><li>Promt delivery of orders by use of work van or box truck.</li><li>Organize and maintain warehouse and ensure a clean and efficient environment.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Warehouse experience with familiarity in load &amp; unload procedures, heavy lifting, pulling orders, and inventory management.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles.</li><li>Proven courier or delivery driver experience with route driving and customer interaction skills.</li><li>Knowledge of forklift operation, pallet jacks, and safety protocols related to heavy lifting and moving equipment is a plus.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.</li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout shifts.</li><li>Familiarity with driving regulations and safety standards for commercial vehicles.</li></ul>Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) 4% Match</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have any prior law offenses that we need to be aware of?</li><li>Can you reliably lift up to 50lb regularly during the shift?</li><li>Do you have a valid driver's license?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Anchorage, AK 99518 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
