Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver

Job Summary
Join our team! We are a growing distributing company delivering anywhere from local Anchorage shops, Valley drop offs, and airport drop offs to various places around Alaska. We are looking for a quick, energetic individual who can handle a physically active job. You’ll be responsible for picking orders for customers, receiving and stocking freight, general warehouse maintenance to ensure shelves are stocked and area is well kept, and being a back up driver on our busy days to help ensure we can get our customers orders out on time. Duties

• Picking and sorting orders for upcoming deliveries.
• Load and unload shipments from vehicles by use of pallet jacks or fork lifts.
• Stock shelves and freezers regularly
• Cycle Counting regularly to ensure consistent, accurate inventory numbers.
• Assist with loading delivery truck with orders.
• Promt delivery of orders by use of work van or box truck.
• Organize and maintain warehouse and ensure a clean and efficient environment.

Experience

• Warehouse experience with familiarity in load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, pulling orders, and inventory management.
• Valid driver’s license with experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles.
• Proven courier or delivery driver experience with route driving and customer interaction skills.
• Knowledge of forklift operation, pallet jacks, and safety protocols related to heavy lifting and moving equipment is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout shifts.
• Familiarity with driving regulations and safety standards for commercial vehicles.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
