<div>Since 1985, Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless has dedicated its mission exclusively to providing services to people experiencing homelessness. AHCH provides a distinctive continuum of integrated care through outreach and site-based services to address the health-related causes and consequences of homelessness. Our vision is to live in a world that is just and without homelessness. We believe that homelessness is an issue that can be solved through access to quality health care, adequate and affordable housing, and a living wage. 
The Pharmacist monitors and maintains the day-to-day operations of the AHCH onsite Pharmacy. This position also provides oversight to the Pharmacy team and acts as a consultant to other cross-disciplinary staff on issues relating to the pharmaceutical needs of patients. 
This is a PRN position, providing coverage for employees' vacations, sick days, etc. Availability to work as needed Monday through Friday (estimated 2-4 8hr shifts per month, up to 1-2 weeks at a time) 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>
Work with other disciplines toward integrative approaches to patient care in a pharmaceutical context</li>
<li>Dispense medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals according to professional standards and state and federal legal requirements</li>
<li>Ensure QI/QA and compliance in Pharmacy</li>
<li>Maintain on-going program development for Pharmacy</li>
<li>Responsible for budget management for Pharmacy</li>
<li>Provide guidance to Chief Clinical Officer on AHCH Pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance to all regulations</li></ul>

Minimum Qualifications: 
<ul><li>Ability to thrive in a complex non-profit healthcare setting.</li><li>Ability to work with peers to lead change, high performance, and innovation.</li><li>Proven track record of effectively managing a Pharmacy.</li><li>Ability to have long-term strategic vision balanced with addressing day-to-day issues.</li><li>Be a mission-driven leader with a preference to work in a values-base, patient-centered</li></ul>
organization. 
<ul><li>Have a strong desire to work in an integrated/cross-disciplinary team model.</li><li>Experience working with an EHR and/or Pharmacy software.</li><li>PharmD license or the ability to practice in New Mexico as a Pharmacist.</li><li>2 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist</li></ul></div> 
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Pharmacist Clinician license in New Mexico.</li><li>4 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist.</li><li>Understanding of Medicaid billing.</li><li>Previous experience with underserved populations, those with SMI/CMI, and substance abuse</li></ul>
disorders. 
<ul><li>Previous experience working in a FQHC or community health organization.</li><li>Bilingual Spanish/English.</li></ul>
