**Applicants MUST be authorized to work in the US**Location: United States (Exact location TBD)Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee the overall planning, construction, and startup of the manufacturing facility in the U.S.</li><li>Lead daily plant operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and compliance with local regulations.</li><li>Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), production schedules, and quality control systems.</li><li>Coordinate cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, quality assurance, EHS (Environmental, Health &amp; Safety), and logistics.</li><li>Manage plant budgets, cost controls, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.</li><li>Recruit, train, and develop plant personnel to build a high-performing local team.</li><li>Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards, including OSHA and EPA regulations.</li><li>Drive optimization of production yield, throughput, and equipment utilization.</li><li>Collaborate closely with R&amp;D, engineering, and supply chain teams to support new product introduction and process improvement.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.</li><li>Experience in chemical process manufacturing, preferably in lithium battery materials, cathode/anode production, or similar industries.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a leadership or plant management role.</li><li>Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, process control, and lean manufacturing principles.</li><li>Familiar with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management in industrial settings.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment and lead both local and international teams.</li><li>Experience with plant startup or greenfield project preferred.</li><li>Bilingual (English &amp; Mandarin Chinese)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Mandarin (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Remote: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
