This role is for a seasoned professional ready to plug in and elevate our practice.Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Drafting petitions, and pertinent documents associated with Family Law.</li><li>Research</li><li>Interact with attorneys, clients, and judicial contacts.</li><li>Experience with Client Billing and Time Entries.</li><li>Scheduling court hearings, depositions, mediations, conferences, trial preparation.</li><li>Knowledge/Monitoring of electronic filings with the court (State of Florida e-filing portal).</li><li>Prioritize and assign cases, monitor workload, and production to ensure completion of tasks assigned and deadlines.</li><li>Oversee the status of cases through the utilization of case management and billing systems. Run reports as needed.</li><li>Work closely in a team environment and provide updates while building knowledge of Firm and client processes.</li></ul>The ideal candidate will have the following:<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience working with a Family Law caseload in Florida. (REQUIRED)</li><li>Be Fluent in Spanish (Preferred)</li><li>Self-motivated, Self-starter.</li><li>Strong Organizational Skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to handle high volume caseload while maintaining a high level of productivity.</li><li>Be comfortable with &quot;paperless&quot; procedures.</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.</li><li>Meets assigned deadlines and communicates case progress/status/issues head attorney.</li><li>Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team.</li><li>Ability to contribute to a positive work environment.</li></ul>As we find ourselves serving our clients full-time please do not call nor walk in without a scheduled interview.**No Recruiters**Job Type: Full-timePay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hourExpected hours: 28 &ndash; 32 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have 5 or more years drafting Family Law Pleadings, Preparing Family Law Related cases for trial and mediation in Florida?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Family law Paralegal in Florida: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
