We’re growing and looking for an experienced Family Law Paralegal who can immediately support our attorneys with minimal direction. Job Responsibilities

• Drafting petitions, and pertinent documents associated with Family Law.
• Research
• Interact with attorneys, clients, and judicial contacts.
• Experience with Client Billing and Time Entries.
• Scheduling court hearings, depositions, mediations, conferences, trial preparation.
• Knowledge/Monitoring of electronic filings with the court (State of Florida e-filing portal).
• Prioritize and assign cases, monitor workload, and production to ensure completion of tasks assigned and deadlines.
• Oversee the status of cases through the utilization of case management and billing systems. Run reports as needed.
• Work closely in a team environment and provide updates while building knowledge of Firm and client processes.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with a Family Law caseload in Florida. (REQUIRED)
• Be Fluent in Spanish (Preferred)
• Self-motivated, Self-starter.
• Strong Organizational Skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high volume caseload while maintaining a high level of productivity.
• Be comfortable with "paperless" procedures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
• Meets assigned deadlines and communicates case progress/status/issues head attorney.
• Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team.
• Ability to contribute to a positive work environment.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 32 per week
