Appliance Repair Company seeking a high-energy dispatcher/administrative assistant in our San Mateo office. This position requires a friendly, well-organized person with great multi-tasking skills. Must be a quick-learner and comfortable working independently. Knowledge of the Appliance industry is a big plus but not necessary. Willing to work with college schedules need full time during the summer but part time ok for fall/spring.Duties include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Direct phone calls, e-mails, and faxes</li><li>Operate office equipment (copy, fax and scanner)</li><li>Schedule and input appointments in dispatch software</li><li>Dispatch technicians</li><li>Order parts</li><li>Inventory evaluations</li><li>Read &amp; respond to emails</li><li>Input data and file paper work</li><li>Provide general office support to Office Manager</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Must successfully pass a ten year background check.</li><li>Must submit to and pass a drug screen.</li><li>Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.</li><li>Must be proficient in communicating, reading and writing.</li><li>Must have some work experience in a customer service industry.</li><li>Must be computer savvy in Microsoft office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint</li><li>Must possess high ethical standards.</li><li>Must enjoy working with the general public.</li><li>Must have the ability to work effectively as a team player.</li></ul>Compensation: $22-$25 TBDHours: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm / or Part time 12pm-5pmIf you meet the above requirements email your resume including 3 references to be considered for the position.
