PURPOSE:To negotiate and purchase materials, supplies, equipment and services used by our company in an efficient and economic manner.RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Prepares, analyzes, and negotiates with suppliers for efficient delivery of products and services; tracks and develops reports to identify progress of cost saving initiatives and process efficiencies.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve problems with orders, delivery dates and service needs.</li><li>Reviews and processes purchase requisitions, purchase order adjustments; develops and assists with implementation of processes for efficiency improvements; provides customer service and departmental support.</li><li>Analyzes, identifies, and communicates information regarding purchase orders utilizing out-of-network vendors; identifies, researches, and resolves problems relating to purchasing issues.</li><li>Develops departmental communications; maintains and updates files, and databases; contributes to and supports departmental initiatives.</li><li>Respond to customer, outside sales and inside sales staff withal requests and questions.</li><li>Stay updated on current market prices and communicate changes with both outside sales and inside sales</li><li>Track daily requests for quotes to ensure prompt response to customers and prospects. Responsible for timely follow-up from inquiry to order.</li><li>Develop and demonstrate individual product knowledge and computer navigation skills to serve as an effective resource for both customers and outside sales staff.</li><li>Understand the nature of our business and support the company&rsquo;s goals by exhibiting the following behavior: integrity, competence, trust and respect, accountability and commitment, excellence in customer service.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li><li>Management of non-conforming &amp; coordination of returns with suppliers.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Belmont, NH 03220 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
