This paid position offers opportunities to develop your skills in horticulture, landscape installation, and equipment operation while contributing to vibrant community spaces.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist with lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and general turf maintenance using power tools and hand tools.</li><li>Support landscape installation projects including planting, hardscape construction, and irrigation setup.</li><li>Operate equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and tree care tools safely and efficiently.</li><li>Perform landscape maintenance tasks like pruning trees and shrubs, tree trimming, and garden bed care.</li><li>Maintain equipment including cleaning, basic repairs, and routine inspections to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to execute projects on schedule while adhering to safety standards.</li><li>Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and community areas.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided.</li><li>Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is highly advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design enhances your ability to contribute effectively.</li><li>Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not mandatory.</li><li>Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently in outdoor environments.</li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
