Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced, patient-centered practice. We&rsquo;re looking for a reliable, professional, punctual team player who takes pride in quality patient care and teamwork.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following strict infection control and aseptic protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment</li><li>Assist dentists during procedures including restorations, crowns, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry</li><li>Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) and perform iTero scans while ensuring patient comfort and privacy</li><li>Accurately chart clinical notes and manage patient records in Dentrix</li><li>Provide efficient chairside assistance by anticipating provider needs and handling instruments, materials, and supplies</li><li>Support patient care with a calm, professional, and compassionate chairside manner</li><li>Assist with patient flow and room turnover to keep the schedule running smoothly</li><li>Maintain strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control standards</li><li>Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and an excellent patient experience</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in Dentrix for clinical charting and documentation</li><li>Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality</li><li>Experience with digital dental imaging, including X-rays and 3D/iTero scanning</li><li>Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently and confidently</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages</li><li>Solid knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques</li><li>Experience in general dentistry required; experience in prosthodontics and endodontics preferred</li><li>Professional, punctual, reliable, and a strong team player</li><li>Positive attitude with a commitment to excellent patient care&mdash;empowering you to grow your career while making patients smile confidently every day!</li></ul>Pay: $21.00 - $31.00 per hourExperience:<ul><li>Dental assisting: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
