As a fitting specialist in the business for over half a century, Allan Aircraft has the CNC machines and equipment and capability to handle virtually any fitting application. We manufacture and stock a wide range of Aerospace Standards and commercial and industrial fittings.
About the Position:
The ideal candidate will have experience with both local and over-the-road (OTR) routes, as well as experience as either a solo driver or a company driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods, loading and unloading cargo, and ensuring that all deliveries are made on time. Requirements:

Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Drive a flatbed truck or van to transport goods and materials.</li><li>
Maintain records such as vehicle logs, delivery records, and billing statements.</li><li>
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.</li><li>
Load and unload cargo in a safe and efficient manner with forklifts.</li><li>
Ensure that cargo is properly secured in the vehicle.</li><li>
Communicate with the Warehouse Manager and other personnel to coordinate pickup and delivery times.</li><li>
Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li><li>
Obeying and following applicable traffic laws.</li><li>
Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc).</li><li>
Interacting with customers in a professional manner.</li></ul>
License/Certification:<ul><li>
Valid Driver&rsquo;s License (required).</li></ul>
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not required).</li><li>
2+ years of forklift experience.</li><li>
Experience with Bar Stock (preferred but not required).</li><li>
Flatbed experience.</li><li>
2+ years of warehouse experience.</li><li>
2+ years of commercial driving experience (preferred but not required).</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Prolonged periods of sitting.</li><li>
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.</li></ul>
