Bank Teller &ndash; Member Sales Representative IMichigan City Branch | In PersonBe the Face of the Credit Union&mdash;Right Where It Matters MostWe&rsquo;re looking for an experienced Teller to join our Michigan City Branch as a Member Sales Representative I. In this front-line role, you&rsquo;ll work directly with members behind the teller line, providing exceptional service while accurately handling daily financial transactions.This position is ideal for someone who already has teller-line experience and enjoys helping members with their financial needs in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Serve members face-to-face behind the teller line by processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check transactions</li><li>Maintain full responsibility for an individual cash drawer, including daily balancing and proofing</li><li>Accurately handle cash, coin, and negotiable items in accordance with policies and procedures</li><li>Build strong member relationships through friendly, professional service and proactive support</li><li>Identify member needs and promote appropriate credit union products and services</li><li>Verify member identities, monitor transactions, and follow fraud prevention and security protocols</li><li>Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure compliance with banking regulations</li><li>Work collaboratively with branch staff to deliver a consistent, positive member experience</li></ul>Required Experience &amp; QualificationsThis role requires direct teller experience.<ul><li>Minimum 1 year of Teller experience at a bank or credit union</li><li>Experience working behind the teller line with personal cash drawer responsibility</li><li>Daily balancing and cash handling experience required</li><li>High-volume, in-person member transaction experience</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy with basic math and cash</li><li>Comfort using financial systems and performing accurate data entry</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li></ul>Please Note: Roles such as bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, or back-office financial positions do not meet the teller experience requirement for this position.Education<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Additional financial services training or certification is a plus</li></ul>Pay &amp; BenefitsPay: $20.87 per hourBenefits include:<ul><li>401(k) with employer matching</li><li>Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance</li><li>Paid time off and paid sick time</li><li>Profit sharing and retirement plan (pension)</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Employee discounts</li><li>Bereavement leave</li><li>Opportunities for advancement within the organization</li></ul>Additional Information<ul><li>Work Location: In person &ndash; Michigan City Branch</li><li>Pre-employment Requirement: Must be willing to take a drug test</li></ul>Pay: From $20.87 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>AD&amp;D insurance</li><li>Bereavement leave</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Profit sharing</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have at least 1 year of experience working as a bank or credit union Teller?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
