Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while advancing your career in healthcare.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort.</li><li>Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.</li><li>Support medical teams by preparing patients for procedures, assisting with medical documentation, and ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.</li><li>Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, utilizing memory care techniques to ensure safety and dignity.</li><li>Administer medications and perform basic medical tasks such as catheter care, wound dressing changes, and phlebotomy under supervision when qualified.</li><li>Operate patient lifts such as Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in accordance with hospital or facility standards.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience working with diverse populations including seniors, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or behavioral health needs.</li><li>Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation.</li><li>Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and vital signs monitoring.</li><li>Experience in various healthcare settings such as ICU (Intensive Care Unit), emergency medicine, post-acute care, hospice care, or outpatient clinics.</li><li>Skilled in patient service activities including medication administration and basic life support certification.</li><li>Ability to work effectively within high-pressure environments like Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Compassionate caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to work with patients of all ages&mdash;including children&mdash;and collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams.
